Anyone else heard "Old Crow Medicine Show"

By the end of their most recent cd I am in the best of moods. I love their music. Not all but most. They play old time mountain music with a contemperary twist. We saw them "live" at the "Tennessee Theatre" in Knoxville when they opened for the Del McCorey band. For the entire time Old Crow Medicine Show played you could have heard a pin drop. No one moved. Everyone was mesmerized for all I could tell. No bathroom breaks. Awesome. You owe it to yourself to hear them either live or on cd, if you like this type of music.

I listen with piega c8ltd ribbon hybrid speakers and an aloia amp. Great combo.

Yes, I've heard of them. Thet are enjoyable. If you go to cmt.com there is some live videos of them in the studio 330 sessions area.
Saw them as guests on the tail end of a Gillian Welch/David Rawlings show - they did a version of "The Weight" which compared more than favourably with any other interpretation of what was always a fabulous song !

I loved Gillian Welch/David Rawlings also. I saw them in a small intimate theater in Knoxville called the "bijou". Great acoustics in this theater.

Do you think it should be the David Rawlings/Gillian Welch show?
Suppose it depends if your a 'geetar' player or not.
I think they counterpoint each other wonderfully and (unfortunately, I'm only talking from DVD's) seem to have a spontaniety & spark live that does not quite come over on their studio albums.
He's a player that always makes me pick up my guitar and try to play along - always a good sign for me and bad for the wife !
