Anybody tried 20th Anniversary Purist cables?

Any reviews, tests against other top of the line IC's, Speaker cables?

I've heard that they are really very good (also very expensive) but how do they perform in different systems, against other cables?

I have not heard the new anniversary cables, but I have heard all of the other better cables that Purist makes. I only have one pair of Opis ICs in my current system, but even as expensive as Purist cables are, they are worth the money. People like Mapleleafs3 are always shooting off their mouths, but never have anything to offer the discussion. I hope it's cold up there.
Stanhifi, you have as much intelligent input to offer as Mapleleafs3. Between the comments the two of you make, the info should cancel out.

NO ONE HAS EVER BOUGHT CABLE TO GRATIFY THEIR EGO!!!!!!!!!!!

My current system is not up to previous standards, but I have owned many better cables and spent a lot of money, not to mention the discord with my first wife. I bought expensive cable inspite of my own protest! I did not want to spend the money, but I wanted the sonic improvement they provided. If I could have gotten the same improvement from all these junk cables that twits like maplelaughs and stan recommend I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THEM years ago. The cable they push is not worth the webspace it takes to post them.

Sorry for the tirade, I must have gas or something!
You cannot get performance from anything even close to the price and Purist was a huge success years before AudiogoN came along, or Albert porter began to sell them.

The misinformation from Stanhifi continues to fly...
The Cat 5 cable is fine as long as you don't care about the sound of the system and have about 100 hours to spend braiding the junk. It doesn't sound all that good and takes A LOT of time. Otherwise it's a great option. sigh, roll of the eyes, oh brother...!
Purist uses silver for most of their better cables, and some are a silver gold alagam. Purist are one of the best made cables I have ever seen. I have tried DIY cables and have been unimpressed. Mapleleafs3 is well aware of this information, yet he insists his 'european cat 5 is the best cable in the world.
He has sent me about ten or fifteen of the most obscene e-mails arguing this point for the last few weeks, but ultimately admitted cat 5 sounds like crap.
I have the brocure from purist. It takes about 180 hours to make a pair of their cables according to the manufacturer. The terminations and shielding materials are the best I've ever seen. I haven't seen every cable made, but I have done shoot-outs with friends which have used Cat, Kimber, Cardas, Monster, and Purist. The Purist simply sounded the best.
