Any thoughts on the new polycarbonate LP's

I preordered Damian Wilson's new release 6 months ago. A while after ordering it I found out it was polycarbonate. It arrived a couple of weeks ago and it sounds amazing. Here is a link about it.

Like most things it depends on how much effort the manufacturer is willing to expend to get it right... ( I had samples of plant based plastic records nearly 20 years ago so these alternative ideas have been brewing a while...

Suppose it's possible for it to sound good if it's a reasonably new release or something from Frank Zappa.
