I am in Georgetown but it is Georgetown, Ind. I have been using Spendor since 1970, don't give up, they are worth an effort. The sound of Proac is also very good but quite different. You are quite right to try for a home environment, they sound much better there. I have been a small audio dealer for years and have mine set up in a domestic environment but this would not work in a store.
Any Spendor or Proac owners in or near Austin, TX?
For many years have heard about these 2 companies and am very interesting in talking to and hearing these, not in a vendor space, but in a home environment.
I am willing to do some driving to find owners who might allow listening sessions - I will buy you lunch for an audition.
