Any opinions on Birdand Audio DAC

I suggest all dealers hide what they are or get the hell out of here.We have enough of that outside.

I thinks it's a very good DAC. We are selling the Perpetual Tech P-3A- $699 with loads of flexability (24/192/SACD/DVD-A), can be piggybacked to their P-1A speaker/room correction device. If interested go to www.audiotweakers.com

Not having heard one in person, I read a review on Stereotimes.com, I believe it was. That was a totally inept review. I wrote them to complain (because I thought it was particularly glaring in its sillyness)...but of course they never posted the letter.

I have had one for a week. I'm running it directly from the transport - DAC - Amp and I'm a believer! Sound I have never heard before on CDs and an acceptable "sound" to CDs. There may be as-good and perhaps better? but I'm going to stop with this. Until another major breakthrough comes this is as good as I need and it is superb. ( CEC - Birdland - 4B-ST - magnepan 3.6R)
