they are incredible... not the brightest speakers in the world, but this may be due to my heavily tubed setup. the richness of tone however is unbelievable. and the bass! i have a sub, but don't need to turn it on. the bass is thick, defined, and powerful. really really great speakers, if you can find them for less than the 2500 most people are charging-- get them. not that i care, but they are also easy on the eyes.
