Anticable Cables: what do you like about them thread?

I thought that I would start this thread.  I do not like the other thread.

Which of the Speltz cables are you referring to? Speaker cables, interconnects, power cables or USB cables? Be more specific please.
you choose for your post.
why specific but you may be specific if you wish.
so what, specifically, do you like about them in your audio system.

are they Speltz cables not Anticables?
I like the solid copper speaker cables. In my system they are natural sounding without coloration, tuning, fancy boxes or high cost.
I love their Level 3 power cable - they have worked well in every application in my system.
@yping - in the past you have spoken very favourably about KLE Innovations cables - Are you now looking for replacements?

Just curious :-)

What I like about their IC’s is the helix geometry. It provides very good results and eliminates most issues of cable design (see links below)

Their braided geometry they use on their power cables is more effective than many other brands, but not as effective as the Helix geometry.

Surprisingly, the geometry used on their speaker cables is rather conventional by comparison to their IC’s and Power Cables and will suffer from many of the associated issues. Please read...

Building good cables is not just about wire quality and connector quality - cable geometry is key to excellent cable performance.

I use the 3.1 speaker wires with banana plug ends. I like their stiffness and ability to use uneven lengths. To my ears they sound fine with definition and bass punch and they aren't crazy priced. I've owned Nordost, when I had more money than brains.
They sound good in my system, they are built well though the solder joints for a bi-wire setup are a little fragile, they offer good value, and they are a good company to deal with.

They probably connected them backwards.
@ebm - sorry, you're on the wrong thread. You should post on the Anticables-Scam? thread. This thread is for those of us who like the Anti's. LOL! JK, we all know is this weird hobby there's always lots of opinions :).
I am out of here tom!!
Happy listening, my friend, no matter what cable you prefer!
Williewonka, love KLE cables and connectors, they are great.

That scam thread is shameful and should be closed and deleted. Seems strange and surprising that it is allowed to be there. Without those bad negative posters this thread is very peaceful. Although not many posts, so far.

I like that Anticable cables get best in show awards which means that they are good.
What good stuff do you have to say about Anticable cables?
Have any you compared them to Nordost, Tara, AQ, or any other cables (lots of them)?
i use the 2.1 true bi-wire and the jumpers to do the parallel connection with my Vandersteen 2CE Signatures MKII, LOVE THE SOUND!

Have any you compared them to Nordost, Tara, AQ, MIT, Transparent or any other cables (lots of them)?
@drumsgreg - Am I understanding you correctly that you bi-wired plus also used the jumpers?  The jumpers should NOT be used if you are bi-wiring (one run of speaker cable to the treble terminal, another run of speaker cable to the bass terminal on your Vandys.

Tom
tomcarr, yes, its called parallel Bi-wire. i got it from the Anti-cable site under FAQ. All i know is that it works, all it cost me to try it was 36.00 bucks. i clearly heard a difference with the jumpers and preferred it that way. Greg
They have a great trial and returns policy

by bi-wiring with jumpers it sounds like you have accidentally connected the SCs as per the Doug  Schroeder method.  Does that sound right?
@drumsgreg - That's interesting! Thanks for the info about an option that might work for others too.

Tom
yping, not sure what the Doug Schroeder method is, i found this on the anti-cable site under FAQ. tomcarr, your welcome!
@drumsgreg  Richard Vandersteen states "Jumpers defeat the main advantage of bi-wiring". Since there's no harm in trying bi-wiring with and without jumpers it's worth experimenting. Maybe start a thread about your findings...?
The Doug Schroeder method is double runs of ICs.
tomcarr, yeah ill unhook the jumpers over the weekend to find out what differences i hear. all i can say , i played it without , then hooked the jumpers in, sound much better and that is the way they have been now for the last serval weeks.
I have to say I have really enjoyed my Anticables on my plasma Pioneer Elite 50'! It brings amazing color saturation and clarity even more than some other power cords.
