Off topic, but FWIW I've found using an Anaylis Plus IC between source and pre gave me such a solid foundation to music everything sounds different.
And I've tried ALL the usual suspects. |

well I never had anti cables...but I do agree that the zens are a great value.I have Had the hologram 2 and silver ref/ic for years.

Cables sound different in different systems. In MY system, Cardas sounded awful, and yet in other systems they sound good. I am using Anti's with confidence, having had Purist, Kimber, Audioquest, and on and on. ...all top of the line editions of each...and yet....I chose Anti's. I just have to remind the op, that they offer a money back guarantee. I have no relationship with AntiCable....just use their stuff. |
A friend bought the Anti cables level 3 a while back and he brought them to my place for a listen. He ended up selling them for AZ cables which were fuller sounding and had better top to bottom extension. He has since moved on from the AZ but for the money the AZ are a great choice.
I also bought for my own system Anti cable jumpers, 2 sets but I too have found other jumpers that do a better job.

I have not heard any anti-cables, but did own the AZ absolute sc and ic, Silver Ref ic and the Guargantua II power cord.
They were really natural sounding cables without sounding rolled off, had great dynamics and were very involving with all music types.
The only downfall they have although I did not find it very bothersome at the time, is that some cables sound more open and airy, letting through more of the recording space etc. |
