Another new DAC: Audio Mirror

Has anyone done a comparison of the Audio Mirror Tubadour III DAC to the new Holo Springs 2 Dac.(Level 2 or 3). I am interested in purchasing one of them soon,

Appreciate your feedback on the Holo Audio Springs & Audio Mirror DAC's. The article you referred to on comparing the Terminator to the Holo Spring, The author was using the version 1 of the Holo Audio Spring DAC. I would assume that version 2 is better and would have produced a different review outcome. Were you able to hear the Spring 2 as you mentioned and what did you think of it

Appreciate your input. I am close to ordering the Audio Mirror and have the caps and resistors replaced with the Duelund and Vissay but I wish I could get some feedback on the Holo spring 2 Level 2 Dac before I pull the trigger

I pilled the trigger and ordered the Holo Spring 2 level 2 DAC. I should get it in a couple of week. I will post on my analysis of the unit.

I got my Holo Spring2 KTE version about a month ago and it is fully burned in. All I can say that this DAC is fantastic. I am using the I2s input with NOS.Tremendous trransparancy, globs of detail, glorious mids and great solid bass..Highly musical. I don't have a Audio Mirror to compare unfortunately but did so with my buddies PS Audio Direct Stream and Schitt Yagdrasil Analogue 2. We all agreed the Holo Spring was better in almost every way. I have a pretty good analogue setup and I prefer digital playback at this point. The I2s input is amazing on this DAC.

I have the Holo Audio Spring 2 with the Kitsune edition for almost a 8 months now and  I cannot be more happier with this DAC. I would say it compares to any of the more expensive DACs in the market (Denafrips Terminator or APL) which I have heard. I am sure the Audio Mirror 111 is a great DAC but I have not done a comparison. I have no need to since I love my Holo Audio Spring 2. This is a very musical DAC with analogue like qualities. The Terminator and APL may be a tad better in resolution and detail but at twice and four times the price.
