KRK Systems has licensed the "Room Perfect" technology from Lyngdorf Audio.

Looks like an interesting two channel system.
I listened to the Lynddorf at CES. Not my cup of tea. There is no substitute for proper setup. Lyngdorf, et al simply trades one set of tradeoffs for others. Plus a light wallet.
No amount of setup tweaking can avoid the impact of the room dimensions on bass frequencies. You either address it passively with acoustic devices or actively with electronic devices.
I know I am a little late here but, I agree that if you have you system in the same living space as your wife then Tact or Lyngdorf is basically the only way to go. If you have a room designed by Riven then OK you don't really need it.
