I'm looking for an amp to combine with my Placette pre/volume control. I also have a Cary 306/200 cd and Epos 11 speakers. I'm looking for something under $1000.
I would look for an amp with a high input impedance, preferably 100 kohms. You might find a Quicksilver Mid-Mono in your price range. Not sure how much power your Epos need.
