why not a carver lightstar amp 300 watts to order and there on the Gon right this moment for very fair price's.
amp for AR9's
I have a pair of AR9's at my shop. The old Carver m-400 I used to power them just blew yesterday and I am looking for a powerful but inexpensive used amp to use. I came across a number of Crown PA amps, on Ebay, with plenty of power, but I am not sure if I should use them with my AR9's. Are those types of amps any different than home, comsumer stereo amps?
I would like over 300 watts into 4 ohms as I like to play them loud. My old Carver was almost 30 years old so it didn't owe me anything.
