Amazon Turntable Owners: Where Do You Source Replacement Battery Packs

Wanted to reach out to owners of the Amazon turntables. I wanted to know where you are sourcing your battery packs from. From what I see in the motor pod body you need a battery that is 131.77 mm. I am not even sure the battery in this table is an appropriate one. It is a 7.2 V 3300 mAh battery. Is this an appropriate replacement?

Please share where you are getting your batteries please!

I have a Teres tt which has a SLA battery. It uses a 12v 12ah battery. You need to get the right voltage and size. I would look up a source for a manual for the Amazon TT you have. If you have a charger and speed control unit like mine, the use of wrong voltage could be fatal for the controller .
As for a source for the battery, Batteries Plus is one source Any battery store should have it

BTW, Sorasound used to sell Amazon TT’s. He may be a good reference for info and maybe a manual, assuming you do not have one. Good luck

An addendum:  I too am having some issues with getting up to steady speed. Takes too long. But I have  had this battery for only about 8 months. The controller was left unplugged for about 4 days which is a no no for SLA batteries. But I thought the controller/charger would pick it back up to full charge. Apparently it has not. Which brings me to the source of my last battery, Amazon (.com). Yes, it was much cheaper than batteries Plus, but maybe it did not have the care  and/or a full charge when I bought it. So I'm going back to batteries plus. Double the price $50 vs $25. But maybe a longer life too. This is then shortest life span I've had for a battery even though it is a PowerSonic which is the recommended battery.

This is a problem with the Big Co. that sell everything. Who knows how old the battery was or how long it had been on the shelf and/or w/o proper charge. The SLA batteries are quite different and temperamental from my experience. So you may want to go to a dedicated battery sales place. just a thought.
Hi neonknight,
There is a German Electronics shop called  Conrad, look for
Modellbau akkupack 7,2v ,3700mAH
31,99 euros.
I have an Amazon model one the battery is like a motorbike battery- very easy to source I bought Panasonic 6V 12Ah Sealed Lead Acid Replacement Battery from batteryclerk it was about £28.00
The guy from Amazon is pretty unhelpful unfortunately. Can I also say you need to also replace the drive string as it loses grip and pliability over time and as such the speed becomes unstable
@tawa Amazon use a basic standard off the shelf lead acid battery. There is nothing special with the battery that is used. Don’t be fooled
