Alon IV's vs. Innersound Eros

This is my current system:
Rega Mira 3 integrated
Monitor Audio RS6
Wavelength Proton DAC
Rega P2 turntable

I'm think the RS6's are pretty decent for the price but I'm looking for something with a little more bass (I listen mostly to hard rock/classic rock). I really only use the system to listen to vinyl or to listen to lossless FLAC from my digital audio library. I heard a pair of Innersound Eros' (they were connected via some McIntosh mono blocks) and was pretty blown away with the sound but I was listening to classical music, are these hybrid design ESL's good for reproducing bass?

The other speakers I was considering were the Alon IV's, I've never had a chance to listen to a set of these, but a serious audiophile friend of mine said these would be excellent for the genre of music I listen to.

Also I'm sure a new amp is in order if I get either of these speakers, I was probably going to pick up a Innersound i330 amp if I went with the Eros' but I wasn't sure what would be suitable for the Alon IV's (I'd like to keep it in the $2k or under range for the amp if possible).

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I have no experience with the Innersound Eros. I have owned and thoroughly enjoyed the Alon IV's. IMHO they would be tough to beat at their typical used price point, especially given your music preferences. If you do go with the IV's, I would also point out that I found them to sound significantly better tri-wired as recommended by Carl M. Good Luck!
