Add 45 RPM to an LP12

I have an old 1970’s Linn LP12 - US, 33 RPM only, square orange button, 60 Hz motor. I just want to add 45 RPM capability at this time. I am hoping an experienced Linn expert can suggest a simple, easy, cost-effective way to accomplish this among the many possible solutions that are available. The many choices, upgrades and sources have me confused. Thanks in advance for any help.

A 45 rpm adaptor available at any Linn dealer or online for around $40. It slips over the 33 rpm pulley, a rubber o-ring insures a snug fit without slippage.
I imagine you will need a new power supply. When I had my LP12 it required a longer press on the power button to switch to 45 and a press again to return to 33.
Try contacting Rick at audioalternative.com, if any knows everything about LP12s it’s Rick.
I found that the Linn LP12 45 RPM Adaptor allows you to play 45 RPM records on the Linn Majik/Valhalla LP12 turntable, DOES NOTE WORK on early turntables. The ID seems to larger for the original sondek's capstan. Anyone else with this observation or solution? Thx
