Very real progress in Class D has been made over the past few years.
AB amps: 1993 vs 2003 same price/better sound?
Technology improves, as does the manufacturing of parts. But if these 2 amps of similar style (both solid state lets say) spanning 10 years were purchased for the same current year dollar amount, would the newer one sound better? How about 2013? Has class D reached and exceeded the previous versions?
