A beautiful 45LP - Yuko Mabuchi Trio
I can't remember where I heard of her - maybe Stereophile? Maybe Acousticsounds? Anyway, I recently received her "Volume 2" 45lp and finally had the time to sit down and listen to it and was blown away by the acoustics and performance and playing. Not being a fanboi by any means, but this little trio is fantastic and the recording is superb.
I don't have many 45's, but the ones I do tend to be sonically arresting. This one is 4 tracks, but she plays piano beautifully and her rhythm section is en pointe. Highly recommended.
