If you visit the DD-EX or DTS-ES websites you can find information on every movie release that has been encoded in those formats. There are a handfull (mainly action movies, though Punch Drunk Love was too) that are encoded.
Tangent-7.1 is completely supperfluous for teh vast majority of installations. The room is usually just not big enough to warrant it. In very large rooms I like 6.1 to fill in the rear.
