4 ohms or 8 ohms

I have an Audio Research VT 200 amp and Aerial 10T speakers. Would anyone know if I should be using the 4 ohm taps or the 8 ohm taps ?

Which tap sounds better? That't the one to use! You won't hurt anything...
Aerials have a fairly low dip in their impedance curve, so 4 ohms is probably correct. However, you ought to try both taps and use the pair that sounds best to you.
I've been told by "Chris" at ARC that the 8 ohm taps sound better on ARC VT amps. If you are concerned about the speaker impedance being too low, try raising it by using the Paul Speltz Zero auto-former.
