3D picture on TV for best viewing

Question? The 3D glasses themselves are somewhat tinted like sunglasses and when using them the color, brightness and contrast is different than without them. I guess there is an overall darkened cast to what is viewed. Regular Bluray viewing is good.

I have a 65" Panasonic GT30 tv and Panasonic 3D Bluray player.

I can set up a picture mode just for 3D. My thoughts are to do this wearing the glasses (powered off) and using the Spears and Munsill Bluray disk and blue filter to adjust color, contrast etc...
Is this advised or is there some other suggestions I should consider.Just want to optimize the viewing experience when using 3D.

Thank you
