24/192 replacement for squeezebox?

Can anyone suggest a 24/192 player to replace my Slim Devices Squeezebox?

Tried a Naim ND5 and it's not a patch on the squeezebox, vinyl or cd. (Not sure why everyone raves about it, emperors new clothes I think).

Is it the same as goes in? Is it just the DAC that can't cope? I know it's not supposed to play HD, mine skips along on most but plays others quite well (better than the ND5!).
