The transformers they use were buried underneath the base of Mount Fuji for 10 years prior to being installed, allowing them to project that very organic sound.

A thought for those of you that would love to experience a preamplifier that sounds that good. Well you might want to check out the deHavilland HiFi Merury 3. Having been to many many audio shows and rooms in those shows you will be hard pressed to find a better preamplifier. All hand wired big tubes big sound.
