Audio bliss for the bedroom. Replaced a JVC FS-5000 mini bookshelf system with a system to give my bedroom some audio bliss. The new system is a mix of 80's speakers, 90's audio components, 00's speaker cables and interconnects. The setup sounds great but volume doesn't go as low as would like due to the volume range pre-programmed into the cd player. If I added a preamp that would Solve the volume issue and give me more options for adding other components. My budget for a preamp is zero for the time being. Unless some has a spare they'd like to donate to my system.
