Nice system. I have listened to both VAC and Shindo and prefer VAC. It is more transparent and neutral. Faster transients. Shindo has great flowvand decay. Disclosure- i own vac amp and preamp.

It is hard to describe what I like so much about the Shindo I have. I would say that it is "relativity", all of the instruments seem to relate to each other perfectly well even if the the kick bass might not be deep enough due to the low power of my 15w integrated, the relation of the kick bass with the other drum beats, etc. just comes across perfectly. You get a deeper sense of the music.

I have a Avatar Super SE and I was wondering how well you like this combination with the DeVores Silverbacks? What do you like about them? What are their short comings. What music do you listen to most often? Did you find some comparable cables you prefer, etc? I would appreciate yearning from you and what your experiences have been.
