I upgraded from 700cx to 750mcx monos and it was a clear improvement.

Do you still use the KCT? Have you tried the Evo 2 or 202? or VTL 7.5 series 3?

yes,still using the KCT,I wish I could afford the 750mcx,450mcx or 650m in the budget.Selling the KPS28c to move to the Evo 505,then saving for the Evo 202 or 222.Using Nordost and Transparent CAST,and liking them!

The Krell KCT is the best preamp I have heard so far in my system. For my system and musical preferences it is better than VTL 7.5 series 3, Dartzeel 18NS.

I suggest, if possible, you move your SC-Vs further into the room and away from the wall. It should improve your sound. Cheer.
