11-21-10: Roxy54 What are the wooden boxes on top of your speakers?

12-09-10: Thastum Hi Roxy The wooden boxes are diy dampers. They contain 2x7 cavitys filled with 3 diffrent quartzsand types and lead shot. The cavitys are milled out in 4 diffrent wood layers. For cosmetic reasons they are laminaited with pinewood. The weight is aproxymate 40 kg and i original made them to damp a transformer on some CAT monoes but they didnt work that well and i tried them on my speakers and there they worked very well. Amasingly because the speakers are very heavy, they add better detail imagine as well as finer resolution.

12-09-10: Roxy54 I thought that might be the purpose, but I wanted to be certain. I do believe in the efficacy of things like that, although I am a little surprised that it would have such a noticeable effect on such well engineered speakers. I think that they would be less noticeable if painted piano black. Great system, Congratulations.

02-24-12: Luigipenagos Hello Bjarne, I just purchased an Indian Signature table in November of 2011 and ever since I got it, I have been asking myself if there would be a possibility to ad an additional armboard to this table and this is when I ran into your photo of the Vyger table with an extra armboard with a DaVinci arm. Could you please share with me were I can obtain an armboard like the one you are using with your Vyger? Please let me know. Thank you in advance. Regards.

06-10-12: Thastum HI Luigipenagos Sorry for the late answer but i havent seen your question until now so i hope you will get the message. My Vyger had a small modification so that i could install another armbase and i have 4 diffrent armbases all costum made by a engineering. I have just put a Goldfinger Statement in the Grandesse arm and it is way better the the mk1 version, like my Koetsu Coralstone on sterioid. I cannot imagine that i will keep the Koetsu any longer but time will show.

10-15-12: Luigipenagos Hello Bjarne, I'm so sorry I iust saw your response to my question 'till today. Thank you for the info. I was wondering if your fellow engineer would be interested in making another arm boar like the one he made to fit your Vyger table to sell to me, please let me know. Also, if you could maybe send me a closer picture of your arm board/table to see how it was accomodate onto a table that is rather difficult to accomodate anything due to the design of the table itself. Let me know if it would be more convenient to e-mail the photo instead of posting it here and I'll give you my e-mail. Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards!
