music and surround 2 channel system is essentially separate from 7.1 system, only front 2 speakers used through tube amp from 7.1 receiver. More power for front speakers would be nice, 300B SET not in budget now. Am working on definitve answer to dedicated line vs cords vs power conditioning vs add-on gadgets for emi.
06-06-12: Sgr I would not discount the impact the Mark ll upgrade to your Perfect Wave DAC will make in your system. I know cables can make a great difference, but I've ad both DACs in my system side by side and the Mark ll is a no brainier when you upgrade again. Sounds like a very fine system.
