Over stuffed room My dedicated listening room is 14ftX22ft The length of the room allows me to keep the speakers 5ft from the front wall. My listening chair is 4ft off the rear wall. The room has two issues: half the room, on the listening end, right side, is without side walls and open to a large stairwell and landing. This condition causes high frequency “Suck Out” on various recordings. I am told acoustical treatment can solve the problem. I am working out the logistics with my wife. The other room related issue is it’s on the 2nd floor. I have solved that problem by placing my speakers on slabs of granite.
