Over stuffed room
My dedicated listening room is 14ftX22ft The length of the room allows me to keep the speakers 5ft from the front wall. My listening chair is 4ft off the rear wall. The room has two issues: half the room, on the listening end, right side, is without side walls and open to a large stairwell and landing. This condition causes high frequency “Suck Out” on various recordings. I am told acoustical treatment can solve the problem. I am working out the logistics with my wife. The other room related issue is it’s on the 2nd floor. I have solved that problem by placing my speakers on slabs of granite.

your system is awesome. I wish I had some of your equipment like your monoblocks. at least, you have the room and a nice house to set up your huge acoustat spectra 33 which I also have but collecting dust in a storage. I have technics TT 1200 mk2 but it's collecting dust too. However, I use a JA MICHELL original gyrodec with one of your cartridges, a denon DL 301R. You sure have good taste, because I have a good portion of what you use. I'm a carver/sunfire guy, so most of my system are carvers/sunfire. I also have a denon dp 59L with an audio technica AT 32 and an opera consonance LP 6.1 using a grado platinum gold. I have janszen add on high/mid panels, an ess heil amt 1d, ohm walsh 300 mk 2, an eminent tech lft 8a, magnepan mg 2.5r w/new ribbons since I can't really set my acoustats. I agree the acoustats this size is very hard to sell. NO ONE HAS THE ROOM?
