This is my stereo in my college apartment. I am a Sophomore Economics major at Arizona State. My family is built up of musicians and audio nerds, so I've grown up around Hifi. 50/50 computer audio and vinyl split. Project Debut III into a yaqin preamp, my old laptop runs through my Cambridge DAC and a passive preamp because the output is too loud for the yaqin. The yaqin goes into my Marantz Monoblocks and Paradigm Studio 100 Reference V.2. After this summer, I'm bringing back a power conditioner from one of my uncles, and hopefully a different preamp in the near future. Plays primarily prog rock, new wave, and a lot fusion and free jazz. (Mahavishnu, Dolphy, etc...)

Yeah, the room is about double the size you can see- but they definitely are a little large for my room. fortunately I have understanding roommates (who are audio fans themselves) who don't mind when I crank it up. I got these speakers for a great deal, so I think of them as an investment for when I buy a house than the ideal speakers for now. I hope to be able to hold on to these for a long time.

By the way, I'm gonna have to take a picture one of these days, but I've had some changes. Now everything is run through a Benchmark Dac1. I am, much to the chagrin of my roommates, pretty much all digital through computer audio and the occasional cd/dvd-audio. Not only did I sell most of the gear for more than what I paid, but I got the Benchmark cheap and have more money on hand- which combined with likely graduating with my undergrad degree early will save me a ton of money and get more some audeze's, or you know, pay off student loans when I have $100,000 in debt after law school
