HI Alectiong
I think the Minus-K platforn is a impressive form of isolation. It works and works very well. NOise floor drops, bass cleans up, textures become more audible and top extreams smooth out and are not grainy or over siblant. Sounds like it does a lot but these are subtle, but can be clearly heard once the platform is taken away. If you have any footfall problem this will cure them 100%.
Mine is a custom BM-8 unit and it is huge. It measures 28.25" X 21" X 4.25", and it can support the three motor and mutlple arms in weight.
The only drawback I see is, you need to find the centre of gravity on the top of the platter to keep level. So the mass must be put on the top platter so it floats squarely up and down. But once setup does not drift like some of the non active Vibraplanes where you need to add air way to often in my opinion. A friend has one and he said he has to do it once a week.
Other option you could investigate would be Silent Running Audio, I used to use one under my SME 30/2 when I had it.
