Focal Grande Utopia EM in black finish

Analog music sources, Technics SP10 MK3 and Studer A810 Archival half + quarter track IEC and NAB.

Digital music source is Macintosh Mini, OCZ Solid State HD, Amarra Pro, Pure Music and Play software.

Allnic H3000 and L3000 pre and phono into a single pair of VTL 750.

Computer USB cable to Ayre is Purist Audio, all other cables are Purist Audio 25th Anniversary, plus Proteus Praesto and Purist 25th Anniversary AC.

The entire space (18' X 31') is acoustically treated with RPG panels and/or fiberglass over triple reinforced walls and ceiling. Floor is lamination beams over steel plates and two 5/8 epoxy floor. Above that floats 1.5" of concrete and half inch float for India multi color slate tiles.

All the reinforcement and acoustic treatment goes unnoticed, due to Whisper Wall rail system and fine textured acoustic cloth covering everything. In these photos (and often in person) it passes for painted sheetrock.

Room was designed by RBDG. The entire space was torn out to bare dirt floor and open studs nine years ago.

Thanks for looking.

Mapman,

I agree metadata is a mess, not only for classical but older jazz and pop as well. Even the found titles with correct data often go missing on album art then I have to search, drag to desktop and add.

It's not a pleasant job, when all is done you just have it correct, no credit for all the hard work to make it right. I'll bet I have 100 hours on mine now if you count all the software testing and corrections. I was up until 5:30 AM this morning, determined to finish.

Now I find titles that did not transfer (mix of WAV and FLAC) and must tend to those before proceeding.
