The best speaker you ever heard?

In my opinion, the speaker is by far the most important part of the audio system. After all, it is the only part you hear. OK, the other stuff really matters a lot, but without a great speaker... No go. I am a bit 'speaker-obsessed' I guess, and now I am wondering: What are the best speakers you have ever heard, and what made them the best? Excellent speakers. If you can get the bass to integrate properly. Not sure if I heard the latest ones. That is my problem with them. I love the looks and optional finishes. They are close though. Analysis plus is also excellent. Probably the best I have heard ever to date are the Symposium Speakers, but I didn't truly test their bass performance and they need a long wall for setup. For me a limitation for now. Also, they are IMO ugly. There are many excellent speakers though & as mentioned a few times, it is the room/ system as a whole which determines the speakers performance.
