I have some interest in the Devore speakers as well. Can anyone compare a few similar and a few different speakers. Do they have a wing wong or moon mon signature sound? From what I gather from the forums it is moon mon.

Wing wong being slightly forward. If you say is it is kind of aggressive. Moon mon is recessed or staged back. I always shout it after listening in a demo room or at a dealer. People look at you a little funny, but they're usually much more strange in their own way.

You like the driver arrangement? That's like saying you like the jeep with the tire mounted on the front.
I spent a few hours in a sweet room with the devore 8's and 9's, and they are very good but too segregated for me. It's the kind of speaker that lets you listen to each instrument individually but lacks the ability to pull the whole presentation together. I know many love them but they are right for what they like. Much respect.
Sources and aplification were good. 40k plus.
